to rest and to enjoy staying in this place
location.it's situated in the heart of Kiev. Staff services are the excellent
Good location, breakfast, wifi
Very small room (room 9 ) We could not walk around the bed. In the bathromm the shower has no curtains, the floor gets wet.
Basically I booked suite room, but it wasn't at all. It was too small, few clothes hanger, no soap, disturbing when I was sleeping
secure parking near hotel for cheap
poor breakfast, thin walls, no glasses in roomб not enough shoulders
The furnishings in the room were very pleasant.
This is a 2 star hotel at best portraying itself as 3 star... the location is ok, (near the circus) but a fair hike uphill to the nearest metro station, so not that easy to get in and out of the centre, unless by cab. Breakfast is very basic - bread, yoghurt, cold meat/cheese, coffee, fruit juice and hotdog type sausage and scrambled egg (which was put out at 7 warm and not heatd whilst out so quickly goes cold) but there are not enough tables and chairs for the number of guests, the supplies of each item are limited so run out quickly... there is no dedicated person looking after breakfast (replenishing and clearing away crockery etc) the receptionist does it, so if she is busy you can wait for ages. There are no info leaflets on hotel facilities in the hotel (laundry, wifi, roomsafe operation etc). In fact the Wifi is supposed to work in each room but it didnt in every guests room i spoke to. There is no access to a manager to get issues resolved. For the money this hotel charges per night i expected better... my advice is stay somewhere else.
The location is good (not easy to find though: the hotel takes up lower floors in an apartment building in the 2nd line, the sign is small, and you have to pass through an archway to reach it): uah 40 (less than usd 5) will get you a taxi ride to anywhere in the city centre, the metro is a walkable distance away, the neighbourhood is quiet; the room was spacious, light and clean, the bathroom could be excellent bur for the absence of a shower curtain. The staff was quite friendly (2 of the 3 girls we saw); they let us check in earlier on the first day which was nice.
The breakfast was poor, served in a tiny room, crowded at 9 am and little food remaining by 10; the coffee looked like cat's pee. We recommend going for breakfast to Memento, a nice cafe 3 mins away (50 m down the street, first turn right)
Nice and friendly stuff, good size rooms with nice new furniture, nicely designed modern bathrooms, good breakfast
Location is far away from public transport and the train station: next underground station 15-20 min walk, same for train station, about 40 minutes walk to where the historical city center begins... My IPad couldn't catch WiFi at all, even in public areas, no WiFi in rooms, telephone in rooms wasn't working either, light went off twice in 2 days so internet couldn't be used during these periods...in summary I was left without any source of communication for 2 days... for early arrival (8:30 am) I got charged half a day price for the room, otherwise the earliest possible check in was at 14:00...
The location near the central of the city, and close to the central station, the shopping center "Ukraina" and the Circus. Both receptionists were great and helpful. Nice clean rooms. Excellent price.
Two girls at reception, Lena and Ira are fabulous. Cleaning staff is professional and invisible which is all great. The hotel is almost new, decoration is good, rooms are spacious and clean. WiFi is on and very reliable.
Location is not what I expected. This is best for independent travellers with car or without the need for quick and frequent access to Independence Square or central area of Kiev. The showers could be cubicled so the water does not flow everywhere. No front desk reception, but only stairs to 2nd floor which is confusing as doors to hotel look like a regular room door.
The sraff is really helpful and polite 24 hours. The room was small, but very beautiful. We were given better room then we had booked. We came early in the morning, but we were very welcome and we were given a room and they provided us breakfast. Coffee is encluded. We had no problem with the hot water. We enjoyed the late breakfast very much. It's 15 minutes walk from the University metro station, but you can take the bus, it's very cheap. We'd recommend this hotel so much. If we are in Kiev again, we'd stay there one more time.
My room was really huge which is really confortable (It's called Apartment). I really like the staff. They were really helpful. Besides we invited our local friends many times and noone ever dared to stop us or nothing...
The fridge was not working, Not enough drinks in the minibar.
Very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. The room is nicely furnished. Especially liked the staff that was very pleasant and helpful (which is very rare in Ukraine) and was trying to make my stay in the hotel as pleasant as possible.
The room is pretty small but everything you need is there.
Poor service, cold in the room etc. Disgusting hotel.
Room was fine, staff was polite enough
no parking space
Bed excellent, very big and comfortable. Big airy balcony, plenty of room for table and chairs but none provided.. Plenty of electrical sockets for phone chargers etc. Staff pleasant and helpfull. Clean and well decorated. Quiet location. Air conditioner unit, electric wall heater plus hotel heating system in room. Light switches glow in the dark.
To reach the hotel from the street door you have to climb two flights of stairs, there is no lift. No fire escape plan in the room, or anywhere else that I could see. No "Exit/Emergency Exit" signs anywhere that I could see. If there was an emergency exit I never saw it, or signs leading to it. I booked a Junior Suite,. It was not a suite but a standard room. The room had only one chair, I asked for, and was given a second one. There was no way to hold up the shower head so you had to hold it yourself whilst showering. There was no shower curtain or rail for one, so the water went all over the floor. Breakfast, not enough seats, not enough utensils, not enough plates, not enough anything, tea was included but coffee cost extra.
